Coop Renovation

This is the coop renovation in mid-progress.

The first picture is of the front and side panels of the coop. I still have to finish stapling the hardware cloth and chicken wire to the front section, as well as construct the door. The second picture is the roof panel. As you can see, I’m re-using the roof from the old coop. The original one was built to be dismantled and moved by one person. The modular approach allowed me this opportunity for fairly easy reuse. Yes, those roof section are totally removable. Might be handy to keep it that way.

What’s left to do? Lots! Door, the rest of the roof, sill caps for the side panels, and sizing and joining the sacrificial landscape timbers that will sit on the ground as a foundation. More pictures later. Gotta get done today! Tonight and tomorrow holds rain in the forecast.
